Airstream Front And Rear Battery Lights

Last year Supernova launched the fantastic Airstream front battery light. Due to popular demand a rear light has been added to compliment the front light. Its a work of art!

For those of you yet to see an Airstream front light here are some key details! Supernova invested a considerable amount of Euros into designing their own Terraflux lens which spreads out a wide, far reaching carpet of light in front of the rider directing 90% of the light emitted towards the ground where it is needed most. This efficiency is superb giving far better illumination than many higher rated and much more expensive lights. Weighting in at only 165g the compact and elegant light can be used on the handlebars, stem or with the new light weight helmet mount. The light has twenty cooling fins in line with air flow offering the best possible heat dispersal - a minimum amount of movement will cool the Airstream even at its highest setting. In summary this means that the high quality sealed lithium-ion battery will have a noticeably longer life span than lights than cannot be cooled as well.

Supernova have just introduced a rear Airstream light which is probably the smallest rechargeable batter rear light in the world. Weighting just 35g is has three very bright red LEDs in a 6061 aluminium housing. It is plugged into the charge port of the front light for its energy supply. The intelligent electronics in the front light automatically recognise its presence. The rear light only reduces the front light run time by a few minutes. Supplied with a universal seat post clamp the light is safely attached to your bike. Being made of aluminium it is robust and durable.
