Vin Cox Guiness World Record confirmed
Vin completed his around the world ride on 1st August at 3.21 pm.Guiness World Records have put the official stamp on his record which stands at 163 days 6 hours and 58 minutes, that's a little over a month faster than the previous record time of Mark Beaumont and also faster than any of the non-ratified efforts of 2009.
To achieve this time Vin rode over 100 miles on most days and 160 or more on 7 occasions including two days over 170 miles twice in the last weeks of his epic trip. His mileage chart is pictured below.
Thise long days in the saddle included some night riding where his Supernova E3 triple dynamo light was ever present. His Busch & Muller E-Werk kept everything electrical charged while away from mains power sources.
