Vin Cox arrives in the US.
Vin has now completed his Australasian leg and flown into the US landing at San Francisco on 29th May.Since landing in the US Vin has been finding his way Eastwards managing to fit in Yosemite national park, the Grand Canyon, a bit of Route 66 and a day in Death Valley.
He came across everal riders taking part in the annual RAAM (Race Across America) in which several Brits competed.
He clearly has not stopped too long at the tourist spots as he has managed to put in some massive days with a 157 mile day being the longest.
Some days have been cut short due to terrific thunder storms, which he then had to camp under, gaining respect from the Sioux Indians at thier 'Sacred Hoop' gathering.
Vin will be making his way across Nebraska, Iowa, Illanois, Indiana and finally Michigan preferring to take a flight down to Chile riding coast to coast across South America rather than riding to the US East coast.
