Hebie Celebrate 140 Years Of Trading
Hebie are celebrating 140 years of trading. The company was founded in 1868 in Germany and the first product that they built was a propstand. It truely was an índustrial' style stand weighing in at nearly 2kgs!Today Hebies latest equivelant propstand is built from glass fibre reinforced plastic and aluminium tubes. Good progress! Hebie has evolved its range of propstands over the years creating a collection that will suit almost any bicycle, that are easy to use and offer good stability for your bike when in required.
Chain guards were initially produced by HEBIE over a 100 years ago. They were originally made from metal sheeting: complicatedly designed and hand decorated. Production changed to plastic in the 1970s but the techniques involved didnt change much. Hebies chainguards continued to evolve throughout the 1980s and 1990s until the latest product was launch recently - the Chainglider. The Chaingilder combines the advantages of the full chainguard with the lightness and elegance that is associated with is standard guards. The Chainglider floats over the chain and is completely unique in its innovation.
